We are in search of a seasoned and driven Senior Engineer to spearhead the SailPoint development within our dynamic Identity and Access Management (IAM) team.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be instrumental in steering our development team towards delivering top-notch software solutions. Utilizing extensive knowledge of SailPoint Identity IQ and best practices in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), the incumbent will tackle complex IGA projects effectively.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/certification.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Information Technology/Information Security, focusing on the engineering and development of IGA features and application integration, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ implementation, configuration, customization, and deployment in enterprise settings.
- Proficiency in technologies such as Java, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Python, and REST development for over 4 years.
- Experience in writing and troubleshooting rules, workflows, and custom connectors for at least 4 years.
- Solid understanding of requirements gathering, design, implementation, integration, and testing for over 4 years.
- Experience working in agile methodologies for a minimum of 2 years.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in leading development teams, showcasing strong mentoring and team-building capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of IGA enterprise workflows, forms, reusable rules, tasks, and reporting.
- Familiarity with enterprise directory services, including Active Directory and Radiant Logic.
- Well-versed in REST fundamentals and best practices in API design.
- In-depth knowledge of IGA and SailPoint compliance standards and best practices.
Core Responsibilities:
- Make architectural and design decisions for software projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Resolve complex technical challenges and serve as an escalation point for the team.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code, while establishing compliance with coding standards.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the codebase, particularly for critical or complex components.
- Participate in project planning, including task estimation, milestone definition, and timeline management.
- Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project needs, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, reporting on project status, risks, and issues.
- Ensure all technical and project documentation is current and accessible.
- Identify and implement process improvements, staying abreast of industry trends and promoting innovative practices within the team.
