About This Opportunity

This is a unique chance to become an integral part of the real estate team within the Legal Department at a fast-growing Property Management Company based in Richmond, Virginia. We are looking for a skilled Property Law Specialist who will work on various aspects of the Company's real estate transactions and related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, land acquisition documents, and transactional documents that meet the Company's risk tolerance and standards.
  • Lead real estate professionals within the Legal Department.
  • Establish and monitor quality control for legal work products.
  • Identify and resolve project and business risks creatively.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and current law license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate contracts in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
