Role Overview:

This role requires a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop personalized treatment programs and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient's functional status and home environment to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop total plans of care and address equipment needs
  • Design and implement treatment programs tailored to individual patient goals and requirements
  • Teach new skills, retrain patients in daily activities, fabricate splints, and train in prosthetic and/or orthotic devices
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with colleagues involved in patient care
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants according to organizational policies and state regulations
  • Contribute to discharge planning and participate in case conferences as required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in the state of operation
  • At least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in home health settings
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality clinical care and documentation

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including mileage reimbursement, medical and dental benefits, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) program, flexible spending account, and employee assistance program.
