Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech and language therapy in various settings, including classrooms and individual sessions
  • Consult with teachers and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Complete speech evaluations and develop strategies to support students' communication needs
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Licensed by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Certified by the Louisiana Department of Education
