Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting speech therapy treatment programs based on established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with communication disorders
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in in-service and continuing education programs to stay current with best practices
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Louisiana Speech Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure by examination or reciprocity from another state
  • Certification of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required within 2 years of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with pediatric and adult populations
