Position Summary: The role involves supporting the development of new products and revisions to existing ones by conducting tests and identifying performance issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate testing software.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures in production.
  • Specify equipment for test stations based on design specifications.
  • Develop calibration plans for the Calibration system.
  • Create documentation for test stations, including Test Plans, Schematics, and Database Structures.
  • Assist in training production staff to operate testing software.
  • Collaborate with other departments involved in the manufacturing process.
  • Support the CCA and ICA analysis processes.
  • Evaluate and suggest new testing equipment.
  • Assemble components for test stations.
  • Troubleshoot issues with test stations in production.
  • Research and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform Measurement System Analysis on testing stations.
  • Execute procedures for new product development.
  • Participate in seminars, meetings, and training sessions to stay updated on industry developments and techniques.
  • Assess and recommend improvements to manufacturing methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the electronics sector.
  • Familiarity with the APQP process.
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles.
