POSITION SUMMARY:

WOCCU is in search of a bilingual Financial Project Specialist fluent in Spanish, tasked with overseeing the financial aspects of designated donor-funded initiatives. The role will also involve assisting in project coordination, engaging in special projects, and contributing to financial reporting efforts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Financial Management (75%):
  • Evaluating project submissions, confirming calculations, and documenting expenditures;
  • Investigating relevant laws and donor regulations;
  • Generating invoices, financial statements, and inventory records;
  • Conducting field audits and reconciliations;
  • Collaborating with project accountants and donors;
  • Formulating and updating budgets;
  • Preparing project financial forecasts.
  • General Financial Duties (5%):
  • Creating journal entries, offering budgetary support, and aiding in audits;
  • Corporate Financial Responsibilities (20%):
  • Reconciling donor reports, preparing for audits, and upholding accounting standards.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel may be necessary.
