Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000, depending on location and experience. In addition to base pay, we offer a performance-driven annual bonus or commission.
Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Performance Expert to drive software performance and correctness in our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have exceptional academic track records from both high school and university, as well as an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues and community members around the globe to drive software performance and correctness. They will also work on shared tools and infrastructure for performance measurement, analysis, and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrable personal initiatives to measure and improve performance, efficiency, and correctness in code
- Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
- A track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
- Leadership and commitment to skills development and mentorship
- Prior experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
