About the Role

We are seeking a Production Launch Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of new production lines and processes within our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise in production management and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring seamless transitions and achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to plan and execute production launches.
  • Develop and implement detailed launch plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Monitor production processes during the launch phase, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct training sessions for production personnel on new equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Travel Requirements

This position requires periodic overnight travel to support production launches, company events, staff meetings, training sessions, and vendor fairs. You may be required to utilize your personal vehicle for business travel.

Physical Demands

The employee frequently is required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
