Job Title: Production Control Specialist

Join Battlespace, Inc. in a dynamic role as a Production Control Specialist, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of assigned aircraft, equipment, and resources, utilizing Maintenance Information Systems (MIS).
  • Manage, track, and schedule aircraft status, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) upgrades, modifications, Time Change Items (TCI), and Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
  • Coordinate with local operations squadrons and wing Plans, Scheduling & Documentation (PS&D) teams to develop flying and maintenance plans.
  • Assist in building annual plans and publishing weekly, monthly, and quarterly flying and maintenance plans.
  • Develop and maintain PMI Schedule Forecast Reports.
  • Schedule, track, and monitor TCTO requirements, ensuring completion prior to TCTO ground dates.
  • Monitor and forecast TCI requirements, assisting in ordering and scheduling time change items for assigned aircraft and engines through PS&D.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and accountability of aircraft serially controlled items and TCIs in MIS.
  • Initiate and submit TCTO and TCI extension requests as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule aircraft acceptance and transfer requirements with relevant agencies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and MIS data for aircraft in assignment change status, in accordance with AFI guidelines.
  • Schedule and host aircraft Phase pre-dock and post-dock meetings to review planned inspections and maintenance actions.
  • Report possession changes of all aircraft to relevant agencies and wing PS&D.
  • Complete aircraft debriefs, including reported discrepancies, flight hours, deviations, and sortie effectiveness.
  • Enter debrief data and account for flying hours in applicable MIS.
  • Control, update, and create Aircraft Jacket Files and historical records as specified in AFI guidelines.
  • Schedule and complete annual aircraft jacket file reviews.
  • Compile and record data from work orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets, following prescribed recording procedures.
  • Update equipment inventory data as new equipment is added or when equipment is turned in.
  • Calculate factors such as types and quantities of equipment, supplies, and materials used, determining usage, and production rates.
  • Track, analyze, and present information to help managers assess the health of the units' weapon systems and equipment.
  • Perform analyses to assess and improve unit performance, including effectiveness and efficiency of unit resources and logistical support processes.
  • Analyze deficiencies in areas such as equipment performance, materiel consumption, scheduling, management, and resources, and their impact on the maintenance mission.
  • Calculate maintenance metrics and compare company performance against contractual requirements.
  • Develop products to track, monitor, and identify seasonal and cyclical trends.
  • Provide presentations, reports, studies/analyses, and briefings as requested.
  • Initiate special studies, investigations, and perform statistical analysis and report findings to managers with recommendations.
  • Inform managers of significant maintenance factors affecting the mission.
  • Monitor and control MIS data integrity program to ensure 100% accurate historical maintenance data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
  • US citizen or authorized immigration status.
  • Current secret security clearance.
  • Travel is required.

  • Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
