Job Summary

Mortgage Connect is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices and payments to our vendors, maintaining accurate records and logs, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process invoices and payments to vendors in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of vendor payments and invoices
  • Assist and support other Accounts Payable team members as needed
  • Enter vendor payment rejects into the operating system
  • Post daily morning batches
  • Maintain vendor payment inbox
  • Process vendor invoices
  • Print checks and process ACH payments to vendors
  • Discrepancy investigation and resolution
  • Effective communication with Company personnel to determine business needs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3 Years' experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting/Accounts Payable preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • Sage500 experience
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, including data entry proficiency
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to multitask
