Key Responsibilities

  • Rate Design and Pricing
    • Develop and implement gas distribution rate designs that meet regulatory requirements and company business objectives.
    • Lead the development of cost of service studies to support rate designs and regulatory filings.
    • Provide expert testimony on rate designs and cost of service studies before regulatory bodies.
  • Regulatory Financial Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial models to support regulatory filings and rate designs.
    • Lead the development of regulatory financial analysis to support company business objectives.
    • Provide expert analysis and advice on regulatory financial matters to company management and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of regulatory analysts and rate designers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to develop effective rate designs.
    • Provide guidance and direction to team members on regulatory and rate design matters.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Regulatory Affairs
    • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support company business objectives.
    • Lead the development of regulatory filings and submissions to regulatory bodies.
    • Provide expert advice and analysis on regulatory matters to company management and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, engineering, or business major.
    • Master's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs, rate design, and financial analysis.
    • 4 years of leadership experience in a regulatory or rate design role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other PC-based software.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
