Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of our team at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, responsible for overseeing the clinical aspects of treatment for patients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with behavior technicians to ensure effective treatment implementation
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

Treatment may occur in a variety of settings, including the patient's home, the CARD center, the patient's school, the community, or via telehealth. The Clinical Supervisor will work in environments that are both indoors and outdoors and may move between different locations throughout the course of the workday.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work with patients who are seated on the floor, in small chairs, or other home, school, community, and clinic environments
  • Ability to move frequently throughout the therapeutic setting to gather materials, anticipate and respond to the movement of a patient, and/or provide instruction in a variety of settings
  • Ability to utilize continuous visual tracking to monitor the movement of patients and the items and circumstances in the surrounding environment
