Job Summary

The Hemodialysis Technician is a vital member of the dialysis team, responsible for providing technical support and care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment and supplies
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the dialysis nursing supervisor
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
  • Document patient information and treatment outcomes
  • Collaborate with the dialysis team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous medical or surgical experience preferred
  • On-the-job training in a clinical setting under the supervision of medical professionals
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Schedule

Three twelve-hour shifts per week
