Position Summary:

We are looking for Calibration Field Service Specialists at all experience levels to become part of our dedicated team at Aldinger Co., a premier provider of calibration services.

Work Environment: This position involves on-site work at various customer locations, including scheduled overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct calibrations and measurements utilizing appropriate reference standards, covering various disciplines such as Torque, Force, Pressure, Electronics, Temperature/Humidity, and Dimensional Metrology.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and operational checks on equipment.
  • Document calibration results in tracking software.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to manage scheduling and resolve conflicts.
  • Communicate daily with customer contacts to understand their calibration needs.
  • Notify the sales team of potential new business opportunities.
  • Transport mobile calibration laboratories safely to and from customer sites.
  • Maintain driving logs and necessary paperwork.
  • Set up and maintain mobile laboratories as required.
  • Travel to off-site locations with pre-scheduled overnight stays.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations, including occasional overnight trips.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in calibration, service, quality assurance, or related technical fields.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as Micrometers and Torque Wrenches.
  • Knowledge of metrology principles and techniques.
  • Technical education or military training in relevant fields.
