Work Schedule:

Full-time position with day/evening shifts. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for late shifts based on departmental needs.

Compensation:

  • New hires may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.00.

We are looking for a Lead Electrophysiology Specialist to:

  • Work autonomously as a vital member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center's patient care team.
  • Execute advanced electrophysiology procedures and serve as the primary EPT overseeing technical operations for both routine and complex EP procedures.
  • Manage work assignments, update procedure manuals and protocols, contribute to staff training, and assist in the coordination of research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum: Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) or Imaging Technologist training program.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Experience:

Minimum: Five (5) years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist in an Electrophysiology Laboratory.

Preferred: Ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible experience in the Electrophysiology Lab.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum:

If an Imaging Technician, must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT).

BLS certification required.

ACLS certification required.

RCES or CEP certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
