Key Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment and complete daily operational checks.
- Assist in organizing and staging raw materials following FIFO principles.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of mixing processes.
- Possess a general understanding of mixing equipment and manual procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to 5S practices on a daily and weekly basis.
- Effectively operate various mixing and conveying machinery.
- Adhere to production timelines and maintain efficiency as per mixing guidelines.
- Ensure all machinery is prepared for operation before starting production.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and utilize upper body strength, with occasional bending and crouching.
- Capability to climb stairs and lift up to 80 pounds.
- Close visual acuity required for reading various formats of information.
- Work environment is climate-controlled and primarily indoors.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $17, with an additional $1.00 per hour for second and third shifts.
Shift Details: Second shift hours are from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM; third shift hours are from 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM.
