As a Lead Solutions Architect, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the technical sales cycle from initial meetings through to post-sales activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving subscription renewals.
- Addressing the technical requirements of clients, including identifying new use cases for Cloudera's offerings.
- Crafting tailored solutions for client needs utilizing Cloudera technologies, guided by reference architectures and established patterns.
- Showcasing Cloudera products in a manner that motivates clients to embrace our solutions.
- Collaborating with Account Managers to demonstrate the true value of Cloudera's offerings and facilitate successful sales.
- Presenting product roadmaps and visions to encourage clients to envision broader possibilities.
- Coordinating with other Cloudera teams to ensure a unified communication approach for clients.
- Advocating for client needs to Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Engaging in external outreach and advocacy through conferences, meetups, webinars, and blogs.
- Aligning achievements with team objectives, including annual sales targets and knowledge sharing with peers and the broader community.
- A genuine passion for leveraging technology to create positive impacts for individuals and organizations. We will provide exceptional tools, and you will connect them to real-world use cases for our clients.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a pre-sales environment.
- The capability to develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations effectively.
- Experience with technologies such as:
- Big Data, Data Warehousing, or Relational Databases.
- One or more of the major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). While formal certification is not mandatory, it would be advantageous.
- Data Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
- Enterprise Operations, Security, and Data Governance.
- Unix or Linux environments.
- Experience in gathering and comprehending client business requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
