The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our communities to achieve overall move-in and occupancy goals. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate the implementation of inside sales and referral-based networking strategies, working closely with our Corporate Senior Housing Marketing and Sales team, on-site Director of Sales & Marketing, and community operations staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on location at communities, providing sales support and assisting with inquiries and prospect experiences to achieve sales goals.
  • Implement sales strategies as identified for each assignment, including input in the development of the marketing plan and budget recommendation.
  • Participate in the facilitation of prospecting activities or strategies, providing coaching support to enhance prospecting activities or actively engaging in prospecting activities.
  • Observe and engage where needed to ensure that sales management processes are effectively implemented, at the direction of the SHMS team member responsible for the project and the Executive Director.
  • Actively participate, mentor, and lead community teams in network and outreach activities, including resident and professional referral programs.
  • Support prospect and professional referral event strategies to drive attendance, engagement, referrals, and next steps in the decision-making process.
  • Work with community staff to ensure that each community is utilizing all the capabilities of the CRM system, SalesForce.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data, as well as help discover competitive market data when needed.
  • In conjunction with the community team, provide set-up and oversight of marketing and sales reporting for each community to ensure consistent reporting mechanisms.
  • Assure implementation and adherence, as well as support training of the approved LCS SalesFirst process, department best practices, and support systems for each location.
  • Participate in the recruitment and on-board of on-site sales staff associated with each assignment, including intensive oversight to ensure that their performance targets meet or exceed expectations.
  • Work with individuals who are not meeting sales goals and/or below volume or ratio expectations, providing additional personal coaching.
  • Work to gain sales personally and as part of the team during each assignment.
  • Provide input for sales incentive plans, as needed.
  • Support operations through close partnership and consistent communication with the assignment Executive Director and the assigned Director of Operations Management.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Three to five years of experience in Senior Housing with demonstrated sales success and trends in improvement in occupancy and obtaining set goals.
