Position Overview

The role primarily involves managing a high volume of inbound and outbound communications through calls, emails, and texts to assist prospective students. This includes providing detailed information about programs, admission criteria, and guiding students towards submitting their applications.

This is a hybrid position, requiring on-campus presence for two days each week, while allowing for remote work for the remaining three days. Additionally, attendance at events on campus may be required, along with a commitment to work one Saturday each quarter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support prospective students throughout the enrollment journey by addressing inquiries related to degree programs and clarifying admission prerequisites.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the academic offerings and effectively communicate this information to potential students.
  • Establish rapport and trust with prospective applicants, understanding their educational and career aspirations.
  • Engage with potential applicants through various communication channels, including video conferencing, phone calls, and emails.
  • Provide crucial information regarding admission requirements and enrollment procedures to interested candidates.
  • Evaluate potential applicants to determine their interest and eligibility for various academic programs.
  • Advise and qualify candidates for suitable academic pathways.
  • Adhere to the core values of the organization in all interactions.
  • Stay informed about industry developments through participation in professional seminars and continuous learning.
  • Engage in ethical enrollment practices while interacting with prospective students.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulations, such as the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), ensuring compliance in handling student information.
  • Represent the organization professionally, fostering relationships within a diverse community and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Continuously update knowledge of policies and procedures as provided by the organization.
