The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering communication and language development among students and will possess relevant experience in a school environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assessment: Perform thorough evaluations of speech and language abilities to determine student needs and create tailored intervention plans.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver direct speech therapy to students facing challenges in articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and social communication.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, families, and school personnel to align therapy objectives with classroom activities and enhance students' academic journey.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure meticulous documentation of student progress, treatment strategies, and therapy sessions.
  • Consultative Support: Provide expert advice to school staff and families on enhancing communication skills and addressing speech and language difficulties.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in professional development to remain informed about the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting or with children is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Familiarity with contemporary speech and language assessment methodologies and therapeutic practices.
