Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences. Your role will involve greeting guests, offering choice of seating, and presenting menus. You will also be responsible for maintaining the dining room, receiving reservations, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Meet and greet guests, offering choice of seating and presenting menus
- Maintain the dining room, ensuring it is properly set up and clean
- Receive reservations and make necessary arrangements for special functions
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, and promotional materials
- Ability to remember and recite menu items
- Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons
