Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Residential Addictions team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our medical staff in a fast-paced residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of our medical staff, you will administer medications and provide personal care to our clients, including personal hygiene, toileting, and meal preparation.
  • You will also assist with direct patient care procedures, such as vital sign checks and UDS/HCG testing, while adhering to CLIA standards.
  • As a Medical Assistant, you will maintain accurate inventory of medicines and medical supplies, authorize drug refills, and schedule outside medical appointments for clients.
  • You will also obtain necessary medical information as requested by our medical providers and maintain current and accurate documentation.
  • In addition, you will transport clients to clinics and hospitals within walking distance of our facility as needed and administer First Aid and CPR as required.
Requirements
  • High School or GED
  • Desired: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or SRNA
  • Preferred but not required experience
