Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Project a positive image of Ace Hardware and provide a welcoming experience for customers.
    • Greet customers and thank them upon departure.
    • Assist customers with finding products and answering questions.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Register Operations
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Balance the register drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Front End Appearance and Upkeep
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front end and checkout areas.
    • Face and dust the front end, and ensure that counters are stocked and faced.
    • Restock shopping carts and ensure that all forms and supplies are available.
    • Perform other duties as assigned, including store cleaning tasks.
Requirements

Cashier and customer service experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive store environment.
