Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:
The Clinical Psychologist will provide professional psychological services to children aged 0-8, including evaluation, scoring, and interpretation of psychological testing. The successful candidate will develop recommendations for treatment and link children to education and therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess children's psychological needs and develop treatment plans
- Administer and score psychological tests, taking into account age, culture, and developmental level
- Provide counseling and guidance to families regarding assessment findings and referrals
- Document patient care in the clinical record according to regulatory agency guidelines
- Supervise and train non-licensed staff and collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, and community organizations
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in mental health providing direct clinical services to children
- Experience with DSM-5 Diagnostic Criteria and diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred
- Current Hawaii License in Good Standing or on track to pursue licensure in the state of Hawaii
- Specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children preferred
