Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

The Clinical Psychologist will provide professional psychological services to children aged 0-8, including evaluation, scoring, and interpretation of psychological testing. The successful candidate will develop recommendations for treatment and link children to education and therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess children's psychological needs and develop treatment plans
  • Administer and score psychological tests, taking into account age, culture, and developmental level
  • Provide counseling and guidance to families regarding assessment findings and referrals
  • Document patient care in the clinical record according to regulatory agency guidelines
  • Supervise and train non-licensed staff and collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, and community organizations

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in mental health providing direct clinical services to children
  • Experience with DSM-5 Diagnostic Criteria and diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred
  • Current Hawaii License in Good Standing or on track to pursue licensure in the state of Hawaii
  • Specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children preferred
