Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

The Clinical Psychologist will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children's mental health concerns. This role requires a deep understanding of child development, psychological principles, and evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's mental health needs, including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, therapists, and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise and train non-licensed staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory agency guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely records.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in mental health, providing direct clinical services to children.
  • Experience with DSM-5 Diagnostic Criteria, diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and DC 0-5 diagnostic criteria.
  • Current Hawaii License in Good Standing or on track to pursue licensure in the state of Hawaii.
  • Specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children, with experience working with a variety of children's mental health concerns.
  • Supervisory experience, with a focus on promoting professional development and best practices.
