Job Summary

Imua Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing professional psychological services to children and families. This includes conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling and therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address children's mental health needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to children and families
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as pediatricians and therapists, to provide comprehensive care
  • Supervise and train non-licensed staff members
  • Document patient care in accordance with regulatory agency guidelines
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in mental health providing direct clinical services to children
  • Current Hawaii License in Good Standing or on track to pursue licensure in the state of Hawaii
  • Specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children
  • Experience working with a variety of children's mental health concerns
  • Supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DSM-5 Diagnostic Criteria
  • Diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Experience with DC 0-5 diagnostic criteria
