Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fire alarm installation and service team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and monitoring commercial fire alarm systems.

About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Installation Specialist, you will work on various projects, including new installations, retrofits, and maintenance services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Installing fire alarm systems, control panels, modules, conduits, wires, and intrusion switches
  • Conducting thorough acceptance tests of newly installed or retrofitted fire alarm systems
  • Upselling products and services to clients while prioritizing their needs and expectations
  • Responding to system emergencies during regular business hours and on-call shifts

You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert solutions to ensure their fire alarm systems meet code regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Experience in troubleshooting and programming low-voltage systems
  • A thorough working knowledge of NFPA 72 regulations, electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and general work safety procedures
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in unusual conditions
  • A valid driver's license and good driving record
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
