Pharmacy Technician Role

We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals who demonstrate our core values of Accountability, Caring, Collaboration, Innovation, and Integrity. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and counseling patients on medication use and side effects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient prescriptions, medications, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is also preferred.
  • PCTB National Certification is a plus.
