Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Observation Unit team at Inova Health System.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
As a Registered Nurse in our ED Observation Unit, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care tailored to the population served.
You will utilize available resources efficiently and document patient care in accordance with policies.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and actively contribute to the education and orientation of new staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete unit-specific competencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care tailored to the population served.
- Utilize available resources efficiently and document patient care in accordance with policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Actively contribute to the education and orientation of new staff and students.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
- Experience in Emergency Department preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and PALS certifications required within specified timeframes.
- Registered Nursing License and BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required.
