About the Role

Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services team in Florham Park. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and leading a team of tax professionals in delivering high-quality tax services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of tax professionals in delivering tax services to clients, including individual and fiduciary tax returns, gift tax returns, and estate tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and maximize their after-tax income.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including financial planning and analysis, and business advisory and consulting.
  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day needs of clients and tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues.
  • Perform tax research to resolve issues and maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect clients.
  • Coordinate with partners to ensure timeliness and effective communication for proper planning of projects.
  • Coach, mentor, and assist staff to develop and assist in the growth of the tax practice.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's in Taxation preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple client engagements.
  • A track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient with CCH Axcess, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM, and Microsoft Office.
