Job Overview

MartinFederal Consulting LLC is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Protection Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Department of Defense Instructions, manuals, and pamphlets that impact Physical Security Programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and review DoD and Army Protection Program Policy as it relates to Physical Security Protection, command functions, and subordinate elements.
  • Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify OPSEC and response training needs based on projected processes, changes, and other factors.
  • Support strategy for ensuring intra-agency collaboration, and collaboration with local first responders and law enforcement to ensure effective response during emergency.
  • Analyze assessment results, prioritize vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations for remediation, working closely with customers to develop and implement recommendations for remediation.
  • Monitor industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging threats and other protection areas to ensure protection policies are up-to-date, effective, and meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with analysts, functional specialists, subject matter experts, and project managers to produce protection-related projects and solutions.
  • Perform multiple customer support functions which may include planning, design, assessment, cost analysis, resource management, and quality management for projects.
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in technical or relevant field AND 7 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be substituted for education.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), technical and administrative skills are mandatory. Candidates must be able to apply technical knowledge and operations concepts to exercise effective decision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OPSEC Level II Certification.
  • Antiterrorism Level II Certification.
  • Physical Security background, preferably DOD related.
  • Previous experience working in Physical Security command-level positions at higher headquarters, major commands, and/or major subordinate commands is highly preferred.
Working Conditions

The typical office environment with no unusual hazards, prolonged sitting while using the computer and the telephone and attending meetings, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness.

Candidate must be able to support travel requirements.

Ability to use a computer to input and retrieve information and data.
