Surgical Technologist

About the RoleThis role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons and medical professionals in a dynamic environment. As a surgical technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in patient care during surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of surgical procedures by collecting necessary supplies and instruments according to Surgeon Preference Card
- Maintenance of correct count of instruments, needles, and sponges
- Cleaning and preparation of rooms between procedures and terminally cleaning at the end of the day
- Handling of drugs and solutions under direction of the RN
We offer a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and education assistance.
Requirements- Successful completion of an accredited educational program for surgical technologists or equivalent training in the U.S. Armed Forces
- No previous experience required; certification with NBSTSA or NCCT is accepted if ST was employed as a ST in S.C. prior to January 1, 2008 or completed a ST military training program
