Surgical Technologist Role with Aseptic Techniques

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of the surgical team, you will assist in the care of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare for surgical procedures by collecting necessary supplies and instruments according to Surgeon Preference Card.
- Prepares the Operating Room for cases by opening sterile supplies, setting up table, arranging instruments and supplies according to type of case.
- Assist the surgical team during the operative procedure.
- Maintain correct count of instruments, needles and sponges.
- Identify and care for specimens.
- Clean and prepare rooms between procedures and terminally clean at the end of the day.
- Surgical Technology program or training in the U.S. Armed Forces.
- No previous experience required.
- CST - Surgical Technologist Certification with NBSTSA or NCCT certification accepted.
- Bonus eligible position.
