Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and maintaining awareness of the surgical field.
Responsibilities- Prepare all necessary supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for surgical cases.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures and provide instruments and assistance as required.
- Maintain awareness of the surgical field and respond to requests from the surgical team.
- Assist with patient positioning and transportation, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.
- Contribute to room turnovers, preparing the operating room for the next procedure and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
- Minimum 4 years experience
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Demonstrated communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical instruments
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
