Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Summary
Okay Industries Inc is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, with experience in process design, validation, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery of products.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective action(s) to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead and participate in process improvement projects, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and inspection.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet objectives and timelines.
- Excellent analytical, technical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with 3D CAD (Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD).
- Good command of ANSI Y 14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and experience with functional gaging techniques and tolerance interpretation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, such as aerospace or medical devices.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and tolerance analysis.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Technology preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a contract metalworking (metal stamping, machining, automated assembly) environment.
