About the Role

Chobani is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Process Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our manufacturing team to enhance operational efficiency and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct studies on current manufacturing equipment installations to evaluate operational efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with the implementation of projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, including Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Analyze current operational processes and develop ideas for improvement.
  • Develop performance standards and metrics to monitor operational performance.
  • Interface with process operators to gain insights on potential process improvements and develop plans to implement and validate these solutions.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Possesses a strong interest in working in food manufacturing.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Students with a minimum of one year of major-specific classes preferred.
  • Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to loud, hot, cold, or wet environments.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for eight hours per day.
