Key Responsibilities- Client Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored solutions to meet their expectations.
- Employee Management
- Lead and manage a team of on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and administrative assistants.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Leasing and Occupancy
- Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and revenue growth.
- Manage the leasing process, including showings, applications, and lease renewals.
- Revenue Management
- Develop and implement revenue growth strategies, including rent increases, lease renewals, and market rate adjustments.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure accurate financial projections and reporting.
- Reporting and Document Management
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management, including occupancy rates, revenue growth, and expense management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including resident files, lease agreements, and maintenance requests.
- Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, including liability, property damage, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Facility Maintenance
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of the property, including scheduling and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA and local building codes.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property management, including leasing, marketing, and revenue growth.
- Proven track record of success in managing teams, developing and implementing strategies, and driving revenue growth.
- Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Certifications
- ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) certification or equivalent.
- Language Skills
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
