Job Title: Senior IT Systems Engineer

Venesco, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 level O&M support for our on-premises and cloud-based Windows and Linux environments.
  • Lead a team of IT professionals to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
  • Develop and implement ITIL framework principles to improve IT service management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement enterprise storage solutions.
  • Design and implement systems mapping and strategic roadmaps to drive business growth.
  • Architect and implement enterprise Windows environments to meet business needs.
  • Provide expert-level support for Linux environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in providing Tier 2 and 3 level O&M support for Windows and Linux environments.
  • 2 years of experience leading a team of IT professionals.
  • 2 years of experience in understanding networking technologies and applying them in an IT environment.
  • 2 years of experience in applying INFOSEC principles to an IT environment.
  • 2 years of experience participating in software development lifecycle activities.
  • 2 years of experience using ITIL framework principles in an IT environment.
Desired Experience:
  • 15 years of experience in providing Tier 2 and 3 level O&M support for Windows and Linux environments.
  • 3 years of experience in IT service delivery/design using ITIL framework principles.
  • 1 year of experience in enterprise storage solutions.
  • 1 year of experience in systems mapping.
  • 1 year of experience in building strategic roadmaps.
  • 1 year of experience in architecting an enterprise Windows environment.
  • 1 year of experience in a Linux environment.
