Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in our Behavioral Health unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel to ensure patient safety and efficient care delivery.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and unit activities.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
  • Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.
