Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support services to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide designated patient care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with physicians' orders and approved patient care standards.
  • Record patient data, including graphics, intake, and output, accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, demonstrating sensitivity to their psychosocial needs.
  • Collaborate with licensed nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize equipment and supplies in the provision of patient care services, adhering to guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-6 months of related experience.
  • TO certification within 90 days of hire.
  • CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
