Join Our Team as a Life Enrichment Coordinator

Enlivant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team at our community in Port Townsend, WA. As a Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a calendar of activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
  • Participate in the new resident welcome program and gather information about each new resident's background and interests
  • Coordinate special events, such as family nights, open houses, and marketing/sales events
  • Schedule and support the transportation of residents to and from events/outings
  • Develop relationships with local schools and organizations to establish and maintain a volunteer program
  • Assist the Executive Director in managing activities' budget, equipment, and supplies
  • Train, support, and coach assistant(s) as needed
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, staff, and management
  • Ensure programs are compliant with state, federal, and other regulations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for business use
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Meet, have, or be eligible to obtain all applicable state requirements and certifications
  • Basic written and oral English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree from an accredited college or university
  • Activity Director certification or equivalent
  • 3-6 months of senior living, hospice, in-home health care, or skilled nursing experience in an activity planner's role
