Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to identify new business opportunities and grow our customer base.
  • Identify New Customers: Utilize various methods, including networking and cold calls, to identify and locate new customers who can benefit from our packaging solutions.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in assigned regions.
  • Match Products to Customer Needs: Apply knowledge of the packaging industry and our products to match our solutions to the needs of our customers.
  • Provide Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries regarding our products, their uses, and the packaging industry at large.
  • Quote and Negotiate: Provide quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients, and negotiate prices, terms of sales, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to ensure accurate and efficient order processing and product distribution.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate excellent sales and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of our products to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive business growth.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to effectively manage sales data and customer information.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred for advancement.
  • Experience: Must have a great attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel: Travel to meet with customers or potential customers will be required on occasion.
