This position involves the proficient execution of cleaning and maintenance tasks across various facilities. The role requires an individual to work autonomously while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of high-traffic areas, ensuring compliance with safety measures and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform floor care and maintenance for both hard and carpeted surfaces, following manufacturer guidelines.
- Identify and rectify any custodial deficiencies in assigned areas, providing support to fellow custodial staff as necessary.
- Assist in quality control inspections and address customer concerns related to cleanliness.
- Maintain and care for custodial equipment, performing minor repairs as trained and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, to ensure personal and public safety.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role. Equivalent combinations of experience and training that provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities will also be considered.
Additional Information
This position may require a valid driver's license and the ability to work at various locations with a flexible schedule. A background check will be conducted for all candidates conditionally offered employment.
