Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate House Manager to join our team at Institute for Community Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential program, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned staff, including counselors, residence social services staff, and support and security staff.
  • Oversee the activities of residents, monitor physical plant conditions, and ensure the safety and security of residents, staff, and facility assets.
  • Develop and implement case management plans, meeting all deadlines and productivity standards.
  • Provide quality management oversight, including direct care coverage, recruitment, selection, training, and orientation of new employees.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the facility in the absence of the Program Director, Assistant Director, Director of Operations, and/or Social Services Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, social work, or psychology.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in a human services setting.
  • Valid State Driver's ID (CDL, General Class D or Class A, B, or C licensing accepted).
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and stretch for long periods of time.
  • Ability to effectively use computer software, such as MS Word and Outlook.
