Compensation: $120k - $140k base salary + bonus + benefits


About the Role:

Seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee operations at a private NYC townhouse and Hamptons home during the summer. The House Manager will manage and support household staff, coordinate with family members, and handle various projects to ensure smooth and efficient household operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of housekeepers and household staff, ensuring high standards of service and addressing any personnel needs.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the family to oversee and coordinate household projects, from event preparation to seasonal home transitions.
  • Property Oversight: Maintain household schedules and operations, ensure cleanliness and organization, and oversee maintenance activities.
  • Vendor & Service Management: Liaise with vendors, contractors, and other service providers, ensuring timely and quality service.
  • Family Assistance: Respond to requests from the family, ensuring their preferences and requirements are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise, from staffing adjustments to household emergencies.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in household management or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in both NYC and Hamptons locations as needed.
