About the Role:
The Market Developer will work closely with the Zone Sales Leader to achieve full market saturation in selected Express channels and geographies. This role will execute project plans for target markets, coordinate planning sessions with key stakeholders, and monitor key standards and metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the achievement of zero workplace injuries by following and coaching BBU safety principles and beliefs.
- Engage in market development tours to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales effectiveness.
- Execute weekly saturation tours to emphasize the value of DSD and BBU brands.
- Track and report on Key Objectives and Results (DKORs) to identify areas of improvement.
- Participate in location-specific weekly meetings to ensure playbook tasks are completed on time.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to address them.
- Coordinate efforts with cross-functional sales operations teams to align on and achieve market saturation goals.
Requirements:
- 2-4+ years of experience in a similar market development role.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, as well as data analysis, training material creation, and developing and managing soliciting tools.
- Proven knowledge of growth opportunities in the express-format channel.
- Understanding of express-format DSD structures and operations is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language is a plus.
- Travel is required, 25%.
Physical Demands:
- Able to use a variety of communication methods on a frequent basis.
- Use a notebook computer and standard office equipment printers, fax, phone, etc.
- Able to sit, stand, stoop, and have use of hand-motor coordination regularly.
- Use various forms of transportation for extended periods of time on a periodic basis.
- Frequent walking.
