About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Sage Hospitality. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional customer experiences, and supporting the growth and development of our team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in all phases of restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Monitor servers, runners, and other restaurant associates to ensure adherence to service standards and SOPs.
  • Supervise the service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service.
  • Assist in establishing and monitoring side-work duty completion, maintaining bank balances, and ensuring the security of cash and credit card transactions.
  • Communicate daily with the Restaurant Manager regarding special events, house counts, and other important information.
  • Assist in conducting menu classes and taste panels to ensure the highest quality of food and beverage offerings.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related position, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession, including management of people and complex problems.
  • Excellent oral communication skills for communicating with guests and associates, issuing instructions, and communicating policies.
  • Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters, interpreting instructions from superiors, and reading floor plans, charts, and schedules.
  • Excellent vision for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, and reading floor plans, charts, and schedules.
