Key Responsibilities:

The Medical Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing radiologic procedures at a technical level that does not require supervision of technical details. This role involves executing a variety of technical procedures that necessitate independent judgment, integrity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging. You will perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring proper patient positioning and technique to demonstrate the anatomy under investigation.

Qualifications Required:
  • Completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with various levels of hospital personnel, external customers, and community groups.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience as a Medical Imaging Specialist or Radiologist.
