Ambulatory Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading by example, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and technicians, ensuring adequate staffing and effective communication.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor to colleagues, promoting professional growth and development.
- 2 years of direct experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocal agreement.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish language skills preferred.
